Why a Career in Network Security and Digital Forensics?

AI-driven attacks are multiplying — and so are jobs to stop them. Singapore’s cybersecurity workforce gap stands at over 6,000 professionals, even as the industry keeps growing. As attacks grow more frequent and sophisticated, organisations urgently need people who can think fast and act decisively to protect their systems. This makes network security and digital forensics one of the most in-demand, resilient career paths in tech today.

SCTP Incident Response (Cybersecurity)

Where This Course Can Take You

Network Security protects an organisation’s infrastructure, detecting and stopping unauthorised access, data breaches, and other threats before they cause damage.

Digital Forensics investigates what happens after an attack, identifying, preserving, and analysing digital evidence so incidents are understood and, where needed, legally actionable.

Together, they form the backbone of how organisations defend against and respond to cyber threats.

On graduating, you could pursue roles such as:

  • Network Security Engineer
  • Digital Forensic Analyst
  • Ethical Hacker (Penetration Tester)
  • Security Auditor
  • Incident Response Specialist
  • AI Security Specialist
